What Are the Steps to Writing a Good LSAT Essay?
What Are the Steps to Writing a Good LSAT Essay? The LSAT writing sample essay is one of the most important and most difficult things you'll have to do. Many people simply write the essay word for word, then have it graded and given a passing mark. If you do this, your grade will reflect the fact that you've not been too creative in your thinking or how effective you've been at putting it together. The LSAT writing sample essay requires creativity and some very clear thought, but if you can put together the two together, you should be fine. However, when you're trying to come up with a decent sample for someone to read and analyze, here are some pointers you may want to consider:* Get something good. Although your first choice may be a completely random sample, you'll soon realize that most will not be that great. You may also have to take a few in a row, so start with something you have no prior experience with. At least the person you're writing for should have some idea what they're getting into!* Get a few samples ready. You don't want to have to keep having to refer back to your test book in order to get samples to read. The more samples you have to choose from, the better, because you'll be able to reference them and use them whenever you need them.* Break down the entire LSAT question essay into manageable pieces. Every one of them is separate, which means they all have their own problems to solve. Don't try to fit them all together in your head and go through the whole thing line by line. Instead, break it down into pieces and have each piece serve as a new problem.* Test your reasoning skills by going over the solution. What were the steps to solve the problems? These are just a few things to think about when looking at the LSAT writing sample essay. Remember that the more creative you are, the more time and attention you'll give to your writing, and the more likely you'll come up with the best and strongest LSAT writing sample essay.
